Chronology of cameras Cornu
Les Ontoflex sont des appareils reflex bi-objectif (TLR) utilisant le film 620 et donnant des négatifs 6 x 9 cm. Pour faciliter la prise de vue en largeur, le dos tourne à 90°.
Ils ont été produits durant les années 30.
Il y a eu trois séries différentes d'Ontoflex.
Série "6000" : Appareil massif, acceptant directement les châssis à plaques et un adaptateur film comme ceux que l'on mettait sur les foldings à plaques.
Série "7000" : Le magasin à film est maintenant fabriqué lui aussi par Cornu. La surface sensible du film correspond au niveau de la jonction avec l'appareil.
Série "8000 et plus " : Le film est maintenant plaqué au fond du magasin, ce qui permet d'affiner l'appareil.
Il semble en effet que la numérotation des Ontoflex ne soit pas continue. Elle commence à 6000, premier millier libre à la suite des Ontoscope. La deuxième série des Ontoflex repart à 7000, alors qu'il n'y a pas eu mille Ontoflex produits. De même, la troisième série commence à 8000 pour se poursuivre semble-t-il régulièrement, en incorporant les quelques Ontoscope à pellicules déjà produits.

Introduction
There were three series different of Ontoflex.
Series “6000” (See Cyclops N° 45): Massive camera, directly accepting the frames with plates and an adapter film as those which one put on the folding cameras plate.
Series “7000”: The magazine with film is now made him also by Cornu. The sensitive surface of film is on the level of the junction with the camera.
Series “8000 and more”: The film is now plated at the bottom of the magazine, which makes it possible to make the camera thiner.
It seems indeed that the classification of Ontoflex is not continuous. It starts to 6000, first free millenium following Ontoscope. The second series of Ontoflex sets out again to 7000, whereas there were not thousand Ontoflex produced. In the same way, the third series starts to 8000 to continue seems it regularly, by incorporating some Ontoscope for films produced.
Ontoflex 6x9 Model N° 2. (N° 7032)
Twin-Lens Reflex camera of format 6x9 on film 620. To facilitate the exposure in width, the back turns of 90°. This series comprises a trap door for a film of reserve.
The back is removable thanks to a system of two locks, and comprises a location for two filters. A back making possible to use a simple frame can replace it.
Black cracked painting and sleeving black leather.
Focusing by a button as on Ontoscope Reflex camera.
Taking lens Berthiot Flor 1: 3.5 N° 233 815 (without indication of focal distance) and finder lens Ontor Berthiot 1: 3.5 N° 233 777 with the centring. Compur shutter. Speeds T B 1 2 5 10 25 50,100,250.
